Desert Temple - Sandstorm
Visibility is reduced for all players, and enemies ((very)) slowly regenerate.
Winter Outpost - Blizzard
Basically the same as Sandstorm, but instead of enemies regenerating, players take ((again very slow)) passive damage. Passive damage might scale with health idk
Pirate Island - Cannonfire
Cannonballs rain across all non-cave areas of the map. Extra dodging.
King’s Castle - Siege
There will be additional enemies coming from your side of the map, however the King’s Castle enemies will attack them too. Interesting strategies could arise.
The Underworld - Firestorm
Hazards spawn around the map.
Samurai Palace - Collapse
Some of the bridges around the map collapse and are replaced with some obbies. No enemies there but you could still die pretty easily.
Canals - Typhoon
Reduced visibility, and lightning has a random chance to strike any given player or enemy. Strong winds push all players slowly towards wherever the start is.
Ghastly - Full Moon
Everything is darker, and enemies do more damage.
Steampunk - Malfunction
Hazards spawn around the map due to electrical issues. Any player or enemy touching it will take damage.
Boss Raids
Steampunk Map - Malfunction

Heavenly Map - Barrage
random players may have arrows spawn above their head.
Forest/Temple Map - Mutation
The plants now sometimes launch AOE damage spores.
Orbital - Blackout
Anything non-glowing is basically invisible. Attack telegraphs are an exception, obviously.
Volcanic - Eruption
Time is reduced. If you run out of time, lava floods the entire map.
Aquatic - Leviathan
Every other room, a leviathan will fly past and damage a random entity or two in the room for half their health. Can either be very helpful or ruin a run.
Unnamed Fungal Forest - Infestation
Insects swarm the map, creating certain barricades you need to kill, or maybe create barricades you need to walk through at the right time. Not sure which sounds better.

if you take damage when you lose in the obby, you lose like a large chunk of your health and are tp'ed to the start again? my idea sounds dumb but ok
Yeah no, imagine grinding dungeons and then OH MY GOD an event occurs, that would just be annoying af
Although if this was ever added, I would imagine vinny would make it so you could toggle if you wanted events or not, otherwise NO
What about just visual events/effects? Such as, in orbital outpost, it would go mostly dark for a minute, but you would still be able to see a little. In VC, lava would erupt around the sides, creating a lava wall left and right of the path. Something like that.
Yea but it could just be a option like insane or nightmare just you pick event and you get better loot or you could just pick insane or nightmare
Like if you pick event better chance to get leg or best armour in that map
