Aquatic Temple is the twelfth dungeon in Dungeon Quest. It was released on 2021-01-09, and followed Volcanic Chambers' release six months prior. Aquatic Temple consists of four different types of mobs, two mini-bosses, and a main boss at the end of the dungeon. It's theme is an ancient water temple filled with ancient runes and such that is always constantly raining with water and is filled with aquatic energy.
Aquatic Temple requires players to be level 160 for Insane difficulty and level 165 for Nightmare difficulty. It is recommended to have at least 105M-150M HP on Insane and at least 155M-220M HP on Nightmare. Players have twelve minutes to clear the dungeon.
The main theme is (raw) The Kingdom.
Mobs
Aquatic Temple has four different types of mobs, each with a unique function. Temple Spirit and Temple Guard have 32.6T base health on Insane and 68.9T base health on Nightmare, while Defensive Cube Pylon and Defensive Pyramid Pylon have 26.08T base health Insane and 55.12T base health on Nightmare. The mobs deal between 26-45M damage on Insane and between 40M-84M damage on Nightmare, with the Temple Spirit and Temple Guard dealing toward the higher end of the listed range and the Defensive Cube Pylon and Defensive Pyramid Pylon dealing toward the lower end of the listed range.
Temple Spirit
The Temple Spirit is an ranged-type mob. It is a floating being with no legs, having two floating arms, a floating head, and with filled with aquatic energy. The Temple Spirit will attack by creating lines perpendicular to the direction they are facing multiple times over a large range. Between the attacks, they will stay stationary for a moment before attempting to either attack again or quickly move towards a player to close distance.
Temple Guard
The Temple Guard are an AoE-type mob. The Temple guard is a sentinel being that have runes as their body parts, is filled with aquatic energy, and having a triangle crest in the center of the torso. The Temple Guard will move swiftly, it will target players that are close to it, or if any player deals the most damage to it. Once approached, the Temple Guard will slam the ground with its two fists, creating a medium circle, with the circle quickly growing and dealing damage again. The Temple Guard's run and smash attack is similar to the Burly Enforcer from Ghastly Harbor. Its second pulse of damage is also similar to the Explosive Lava Walker from Volcanic Chambers.
Defensive Cube Pylon
The Defensive Cube Pylon is an immobile ranged-type mob. The Defensive Cube Pylon is a floating cube with aquatic energy squares in the center of each side that spins counter-clockwise with an outline cube below it. This attack consists of a small square in the middle and four lines around the square in the shape of a target, requiring players to go between the bullseye and outer lines to dodge the attack if targeted. The Defensive Cube Pylon cannot be taunted.
Defensive Pyramid Pylon
The Defensive Pyramid Pylon is an immobile ranged-type mobs. The Defensive Pyramid Pylon is a floating pyramid consisting of aquatic energy that spins counter-clockwise with an outline cube below it. It create three lines in the direction of the closest player, with two of the lines being angled away from the opponent on either side of the middle line. It has a similar attack mechanic to the Scout Drone from Orbital Outpost. The Defensive Pyramid Pylon cannot be taunted.
Bosses
Aquatic Temple has three bosses, consisting of two mini-bosses and a main boss at the end of the dungeon. The bosses deal between 28-33M damage on Insane and between 44-56M on Nightmare.
Temple Core Generator
The Temple Core Generator is the first boss of Aquatic Temple, encountered in the 2nd room. The Temple Core Generator has various geometric holographic shapes floating on top of it, including an icosahedron, and is power up by aquatic energy. The Temple Core Generator has a total of three moves (one being passive).
Water Squares [Passive]: About every ~6 seconds, the Temple Core Generator will passively create multiple squares in a line dealing damage in an area before shortly moving down the arena, overall being an arena-wide threat. The squares can be slightly above or below the line.
Water Lines: The Temple Core Generator will then create four separate lines crossing the stage in random positions and random rotations, the Temple Core Generator will shortly afterward attack these areas with lasers.
Water Orbs: After the Temple Core Generator finishes using the Water Lines attack five times, the Temple Core Generator will summon four water orbs on random places. They will target to the a random player as they move towards where the player's positions were when the attack started, dealing large damage upon hit. Cycles back to the Water Lines attack.
The Temple Core Generator has a base of 156.07T HP on Insane and 313.95T HP on Nightmare difficulty.
Ancient Temple Protector
The Ancient Temple Protector is the second boss of Aquatic Temple, encountered in 6th room. The Ancient Temple Protector appears to be an upgraded version of the Temple Guard being taller, having two giant fist, is filled with aquatic energy around itself, has a triangle symbol at the middle, and a dark blue diamond eye. The Ancient Temple Protector has a total of five attacks (one being passive).
Water Stream [Passive]: When a player enters the arena, all areas of the map before the boss area are covered in a damaging substance, damaging everyone in it at 10% max health per 0.2 seconds. It is noted that players that are touching the walls before entering the arena can activate the ability even if no one is in the arena.
Water Burst: The Ancient Temple Protector will slam the ground with its two fist, creating a sun-burst attack in the middle of the arena dealing 55-70M damage per beam.
Water Squares: Right after the Water Burst attack is complete, the boss will summon multiple square outlines, with the outlines getting bigger the further they are from the middle of the arena. Players must move between multiple square outlines to dodge the attack.
Protector's Slam: The next attack has the Ancient Temple Protector turn to face a random player as they slam their fists onto the ground, creating a small water rectangle. The water rectangles will constantly grow wider and wider, until its out of the arena. This attack deals ~800M damage on Insane and ~1.2B damage on Nightmare to any player that touches it. This attack is used three times.
Water Checkers: The Ancient Temple Protector's last attack surrounds the outer areas of the arena with the same substance as before, leaving only a large circle in the center for players to move in. Shortly afterwards, many lines appear in a checkered pattern, pulsing to show where the attack will be before vanishing and then dealing damage a small moment after. Multiple of these checkered patterns appear during this attack, so players have to memorize line locations to evade incoming damage. These lines deal regular boss damage and the attack lasts a few seconds. After the last attack, the attack pattern repeats.
The Ancient Temple Protector has a base of 156.07T HP on Insane and 313.95T HP on Nightmare difficulty.
Sea King
The Sea King is the last boss of Aquatic Temple. The Sea King appears to be a humanoid being that is wearing armor that has scales, and is equipped with an enlarged version of the Sea King's Trident. The Sea King is possibly a reference to Poseidon the god of the sea. The Sea King has a total of four moves (two being passive).
Tidal Orbs [Passive]: Upon a player entering the arena and during the fight, the Sea King will constantly summon a water circle on a random player, dealing AoE damage and creating four smaller water circles around it that also deals AoE damage. Doing this for each player present in the arena one by one.
Tidal Lines [Passive]: Throughout the fight, the Sea King will occasionally give players a water aura around their avatars. The pillars around the arena will also occasionally shoot lines at players who have a water aura. The water aura can be defused by entering a green circle at either side of the arena.
Pulse Squares: The Sea King will then stab his trident into the ground, creating four square pulses one after the other that deal damage upon appearing, getting bigger as they expend outwards. Unlike the pulsing attack of the Ancient Temple Protector, they deal typical damage. The size of each of the four squares varies in size very slightly but they all expand at the same rate.
Water Bombs: The Sea King's next move is firing spheres towards all players, the number of spheres depend on how many players are in the arena, damaging players that touch it and also dealing damage at its destination where it explodes. The speed of the spheres is constant, so spheres aimed for players further away will detonate later than those aimed at closer players. Then, he will restart the pattern.
The Sea King's theme is (raw) Rip the Guts Out (b). The Sea King has a base of 176.08T HP on Insane and 334.88T HP on Nightmare difficulty.

Tips and Recommendations
- It is recommended to have a Guardian with Taunting Aura. While not all enemies can be taunted, they can help by pulling the hardest hitting enemies away from the rest of the team.
- The best method for avoiding Ancient Temple Protector's "one-shot Smash attack" is to stand near (but not directly on) it, as it makes it much easier to move around the attack.
- It is highly advised to not rush the Ancient Temple Protector mini-boss, especially on Hardcore mode. This is because everything before its room becomes covered up with a kill floor similar to The King (King's Castle), Miyamoto Musashi (Samurai), Sea Serpent (Ghastly Harbor), and Cannon Blaster 2000 (Steampunk Sewers), each of which deals quick damage and can quickly lead to death.
Trivia
- The Ancient Temple Protector mini-boss can be purchased as a bundle on Roblox for 250 R$. It changes the player's appearance on the Roblox website, but does NOT grant anything in the game.
- The mascot for Aquatic Temple is the Sea King.
- In Greek, the word "Triton" means Greek god of the sea, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god and goddess of the sea.
- This is the second dungeon to feature legendary abilities, those being Enhanced Inner Rage and Enhanced Inner Focus.
- There is currently a bug that causes some Temple Guard movement animations to not play correctly.
