Reason: This event could be accessed and cosmetics could still be dropped, but the hat on the Roblox website could no longer be obtained.

Was eventually removed on 2023-10-13

Egg Island was a dungeon made for Roblox's Egg Hunt 2020 event. It was released on 2020-04-06 and was eventually removed on 2023-10-13. The dungeon did not have a level requirement. The map consisted of two difficulties, Easy and Nightmare. The Easy difficulty gave players nine minutes to complete the dungeon, while Nightmare gave five minutes. Completing the dungeon on any difficulty rewarded the Samurai Egg item for the Egg Hunt, and completing the dungeon on Nightmare had a small chance to award a cosmetic.

In this dungeon, players were all set to level 1 and given a set list of gear, with different gear appealing to warrior, mage, healer, and tank classes. Players were able to select from four classes at the beginning of the dungeon to receive its corresponding gear, though they could swap items at any time. Dying to enemies took 10 seconds off the timer, similar to regular dungeons without hardcore mode, and the dungeon would fail when the time was up.

The main theme was (raw) Funky Boots.

Mobs

Egg Island had two different mobs, each with a base of 60K HP on Easy and 100K on Nightmare. Enemies on Easy difficulty dealt around 75 damage, while enemies on Nightmare dealt around 700.

Chicken Brawler

Chicken Brawler

A Chicken Brawler

The Chicken Brawler was the melee enemy of this dungeon. It was an angry yellow chicken. It chased and attacked the closest player or the player that had done the most damage to them unless it had been taunted, in which it paused after attacking and continued shortly after. Chicken Brawlers moved at the same speed players did, though after attacking their walk-speed lowered.

Chicken Mage

A Chicken Mage

The Chicken Mage was the ranged enemy of this dungeon. It was an angry purple chicken. It fires a wide beam of damage at players which hit rapidly. It targeted the closest player or the player that had done the most damage to them unless it was taunted.

Bosses

Egg Island had two different bosses, consisting of one mini-boss and one main boss.

Bunny Grenadier

Bunny Grenadier

The Bunny Grenadier

The Bunny Grenadier was the first boss of Egg Island. It is a humanoid bunny that has a red shirt on, black shorts, a master of explosives, and was equipped with a carrot blade.

Frost Bomb [Passive]: The third attack is a Frost Bomb, every ~7 seconds, a freeze bomb appeared in a random location, dealing damage and freezing anybody hit by it in a circle.

Red Bombs: The first one consisted of him throwing a red bomb towards a random player, dealing damage in a large area.

Poison Bombs: The second caused a swarm of poison bombs to fall onto the arena in random places, having a semi-large radius, which dealt constant DoT damage when stepped on, though took a bit to start dealing damage. A way to tell where these might appear was looking out for shadows and where they moved.

The Bunny Grenadier had a base of 220K HP on Easy, and 450K HP on Nightmare difficulty.

Egg Mech

Egg Mech

The Egg Mech

The Egg Mech was the second and final boss of Egg Island. The Egg Mech has three attacks to use against players. It looks like a Chicken Brawler is using the Egg Mech. The Egg Mech has robot legs, armed with lasers, and a cracked open egg with horizontal color lines.

Line Attack: The Egg Mech initially starts the fight off with a line attack, its first attack, which created many lines across the arena, facing the same direction as the Egg Mech.

Rock Fall: The second attack was one which rapidly created large blasts of damage in random spots, they dealt constant damage if made contact, they dealt more damage than most attacks.

Rapid Orb Blast: The third was the boss creating and releasing a large amount of balls, each dealing constant damage to those it hit.

The Egg Mech's main theme was (raw) Work It Funky. The Egg Mech had a base of 225K HP on Easy, and 500K HP on Nightmare difficulty.

Cosmetic Drops

Trivia

  • This dungeon used older interface features that have since been changed elsewhere in the game. These include missing display names and borders around each button. This is changed after Backend Update.
  • This was the first Egg Hunt Dungeon Quest partake.
  • When the Egg Hunt 2020 event was nearing an end, the cosmetic drop rates in this dungeon were doubled 2 times. Their drop rates haven't changed since, making it easier to obtain the cosmetics.
  • There used to be a method to exit the spawn area and defeat the mobs from outside the map, but this has since been patched by a Roblox-wide update.
  • If a player is running as a warrior or mage on Egg Island, equipping either piece of guardian armor will heal the player to 3600 HP. This is fixed after the Backend Update.
  • Egg Bomb has the same mechanic of Explosive Mine but with different looks and spell descriptions. This is also the same as Carrot Barrage as it has the same mechanic as Icicle Barrage but it does not deal an extra tick of damage.
  • The Bunny Grenadier looks like Scout from Team Fortress 2.
