Guardian Roar is a taunting ability in Dungeon Quest. When activated, the user will create a powerful roar forward for a few seconds, causing all enemies to be taunted. Cooldown does does not begin counting down once the roar is complete. Guardian Roar can be obtained from Samurai Palace on both Insane and Nightmare difficulties. It can be sold for 900,000 gold and requires players to be at least level 90 to equip it.

Taunting enemies helps to draw their focus from damage-dealing teammates and also helps to group them up.

Trivia

• In Egg Island, players are given this ability temporarily for use in the dungeon. The differences between the Samurai Palace version include the caption "Shout forward causing all enemies in range to focus you.," the level requirement (level 1), the sell price (0 gold), and the ability saying it "scales with spell power," despite spell power not being required to taunt enemies.
• In Harvest of Horror, this was available as a preset item.
