The Inventory is a storage mechanic that holds all of a player's items, which include their armors, weapons, abilities, and currently equipped gear. The inventory can be accessed by pressing the yellow "Inventory" button in the bottom right corner of the user interface.
In addition to providing storage to players, the Inventory also provides access to the Skill Points menu.
Storage[]
The majority of the Inventory interface is comprised of Storage for all of the player's items. Items are displayed by type, with weapons appearing first, followed by abilities, and then armors. Each item takes up one storage.
Storage limit[]
The inventory has a storage limit of 300 items, which includes both equipped and unequipped items. If the player attempts to obtain items through Daily Rewards or Dungeons with a full inventory, a warning will appear and items will not be granted. A player with a full inventory cannot accept trades with other players, and are also locked from sending trades, though they are still able to receive trade requests. The inventory shows a limit counter which changes colors as the inventory fills up.
If an item drop or trade is able to occur, the player will receive all items even in cases where it would bypass the 300 item limit.
Gear tab[]
The Gear tab shows the player's currently equipped armor, weapon, and abilities.
Pressing an item within this menu will unequip it and return it to storage, and pressing an item within the storage will replace the slot with the chosen gear. Pressing an ability in storage gives players the choice of which ability slot (keybind) to assign it to. If the player uses an ability, a new one cannot be assigned to that slot until its cooldown has ended.
Skills tab[]
The Skills tab shows the player's skill points tree, which is used to help determine the player's class. In addition to this tab being accessible within the Inventory, it can also be accessed by pressing the large orange plus (+) button in the top left if points still need to be allocated.
These points can be reset by pressing the "Reset" button at the top left of the tab. However, resetting can only be used in lobbies. Each skill reset comes with a small fee, which scales with the amount of points currently being used. If the player owns the Free Skill Reset game pass, this fee is removed.
Cosmetics[]
Cosmetics are items that replace the appearance of the weapon or armor equipped by the player or add a visual effect on top of said weapon or armor. They can be accessed by clicking the purple 'Cosmetics' button at the top of the inventory.
Trivia[]
- Before the release of Volcanic Chambers, players could have unlimited items. The main reason why the inventory limit was added was that there was a problem with people hitting the maximum data limit size.
- It is possible to exceed the inventory limit by doing dungeons with Hardcore mode, doing non-hardcore dungeons with an extra item Game Pass, doing Wave Defence with an extra item Game Pass, defeating Gregg, claiming Daily Rewards or Trading. The maximum amount of items players can have (without using Gregg) are 329.
- When people hover to Boss Keys tab, they will notice that there are two mistakes in the description. For example, it says "sever" instead of "server" and "VIP Server", which is an old name of private servers. Which was then later fixed.
- Along with Gilded Skies update, it is now possible add more than one skill point at once.
- When "Spend Skill Points" feature was added, there was a bug where the players could put double skill points regardless of the players' level. This could be done by putting a decimal on "Spend Amount" tab (for example, putting a number from 1.5 to 1.99 would increase a skill point by 2). This bug was reported many times and was fixed a week later, and everyone's skill points was reset for free.
