Soundtracks are used to play music at various locations, such as dungeons, bosses, lobbies, and the main title. Here are the current soundtracks the game uses or has used.
Most soundtracks for dungeons before Enchanted Forest are licensed by APM and are free to use because Roblox signed an agreement with them.
APM Licensed Music is only for use on Roblox. Without a separate license, content creators may face copyright claims.
Some soundtracks do not appear within the search engine or in the APM library. These soundtracks may have different names or uncertain locations.
Shazam can detect most soundtracks, but its sources may be obscure. For example, it recognizes Pirate Island's boss soundtrack as "The Scarecrows - Warewolf," which is available on Apple Music and Spotify.
The closest audio found on YouTube is "Kastello - The Living Dead", which may be an unconfirmed remix of "The Scarecrows - Warewolf."
Winter Outpost is the first dungeon played to have multiple boss soundtracks, while Yokai Peak is the first dungeon released to have the said feature.
Roblox took down The Underworld's main soundtrack (Fight Fight Fight A) due to copyright violations. The soundtrack was re-added, but players and developers can no longer get it.
For dungeons from Samurai Palace to Yokai Peak, the victory fanfare soundtrack used to play the entire track instead of starting at 5.5 seconds. Since Abyssal Void's release, this change was reverted.
Before The Hunt, Yokai Peak's main soundtrack was slowed down by 10%, and the dungeon's main soundtrack and boss soundtracks started playing at a later point.
Before Yokai Peak's release, all dungeon soundtracks played as soon as the Start text appeared, while their boss soundtracks played three seconds after the boss spawned. Now, dungeon soundtracks play one second after the removal of the start barrier and fade when playing or when another soundtrack is supposed to play.
Abyssal Void is the first dungeon to have more than one main soundtrack.
Respawning used to restart the soundtrack. Since August 8, 2023, soundtracks continue after respawning.
Victory fanfare soundtracks play when getting at least one dungeon item (not from Gregg and not including Cosmetics). Completing a dungeon while having a full inventory or completing an event dungeon results in the victory fanfare soundtrack not playing and the boss soundtrack continuing.
Since the Christmas 2024 events, all soundtracks except those of Abyssal Void and both lobbies have a massive volume reduction. It is unknown whether this is intentional or a bug.
