Steampunk Sewers is the 9th dungeon in Dungeon Quest. It was released on 2019-10-13. The Fighter Bot is the basic melee enemy, and the Cog Shooter is the basic ranged enemy. The dungeon has two mini-bosses and one main boss. The theme for Steampunk Sewers is Steampunk based in the sewers.
Steampunk Sewers requires players to be level 120 for Insane difficulty, and level 125 for Nightmare difficulty. It is recommended to play on Insane difficulty with 1.2M HP and play on Nightmare difficulty with 1.8M HP. Players have nine minutes to clear the dungeon.
The main theme is (raw) Propulsion (a).
Mobs
Steampunk Sewers has four different mobs seen throughout the dungeon, and three bosses (comprised of two mini-bosses and one boss), each with a unique function. Each mob has 16.52B base health on Insane and 41.15B base health on Nightmare. The regular mobs deal around 280K damage on Insane and bosses deal around 356.25K; on Nightmare, regular mobs deal around 460K damage and bosses deal around 640K damage.
Fighter Bot
The Fighter Bot is a melee-type mob. It has identical AI to most melee enemies. The Fighter Bot is a robot that has a metal body having green outlines, and a sword. It will follow either the closest player or the player that has dealt the most damage to it unless it is taunted. Fighter Bots move much faster than most enemies from previous dungeons, having the same base movement speed as the player and requiring the use of a speed potion or spell that grants increased movement speed to outrun them.
Cog Shooter
The Cog Shooter is the ranged-type mob. It has near-identical AI to most ranged enemies and identical AI to Harpoon Gunners, and there is a noticeably higher time to react to their projectiles, and as well as being able to shoot twice in a single attack. Its body is made out of metal having the two cogs with both of them have pink outlines. It will follow either the closest player or the player that has dealt the most damage to it unless it is taunted.
Hammer Bot
The Hammer Bot is an AoE-type mob. It has an identical function to Burly Enforcers, with a higher speed and faster cooldown time than the common melee enemy. It's a red bot having wheels for it to move, and a big hammer. It swings its hammer-head down on the player to deal damage, then picks itself up almost immediately and repeats the process. It will follow the closest player or the player that has dealt the most damage to it unless it is taunted. When trying to avoid this enemy, it is recommended to attempt to circle around its range of attack, rather than outrun it.
Spinner Bot
The Spinner Bot is an AoE-type mob. The Spinner Bot has the base model as the Hammer Bot only having the top being a sword, and being green. It has a similar function to the Elite Swordsman mob in Samurai Palace. However, instead of stopping to spin its blade once, it instead stops charging up and then swings its blade in a circle multiple times. It will follow the closest player or the player that has dealt the most damage to it unless it is taunted.
Bosses
Cyclops Siege Bot
The Cyclops Siege Bot is the first mini-boss the player will encounter, located in the second room. It is a spider-looking figure with a green eye on the head. The Cyclops Siege Bot has a total of three moves.
Green Circles: Once approached, it will summon green circles on random areas, which then detonate. After the detonation, all circles will become bigger and detonate again. This process repeats two more times.
Rapid Spin Blast: After the Green Circles attack, The Siege Bot will start firing green lasers as the boss spins. Yet, the lasers don't always fire in the same place, so make sure to keep moving. It is best to stay far away from the boss to easily avoid this attack, as the lasers spread further apart.
Target Blast: Lastly, the boss will start firing green circles at random players. However, they do not directly spawn on the player, so it is recommended to bring a speed spell during this attack or attempt to leave the boss room before the attack is initiated.
The Cyclops Siege Bot has a base of 89.24B HP on Insane and 210.54B HP on Nightmare difficulty.
Evil Scientist
The Evil Scientist is the second mini-boss the player will encounter, located in the 6th room. It appears to wield a Mighty Fusion Spellblade and a modified Inventor's Warrior Set. The Evil Scientist appears to be one of the people that created the bots. The Evil Scientist has a total of three moves.
Pulse Blast: When approached, it fires a circle that pulses on a random player within the room, so it is recommended to keep moving.
Checker Blast: Then, rows of beams fire first from the front of the room towards the entrance, then from left to right.
Sunburst Stream: After this, the Evil Scientist shoots sun-bursts from himself five times, rotating slightly each time.
The Evil Scientist has a base of 89.24B HP on Insane and 210.54B HP on Nightmare difficulty.
Cannon Blaster 2000
The Cannon Blaster 2000 is the final boss the player will encounter, located in the eighth room. It is a spherical machine with two cannons standing on four mechanical legs, and having a yellow eye in front. This Cannon Blaster 2000 has a total of three moves.
Ion Cannon Blast: Upon entering the boss room, it will start randomly shooting beams across the ground, an attack similar to the one used by Sanada Yukimura in Samurai Palace, on either semicircle of the room, four times.
Sun Burst Bomb: Then, it summons a large circle on top of a random player which, after detonating, shoots out more sun-bursts from the center of the circle.
Binding Lava Energy: After the Sun Burst Bomb attack, it shoots at the ceiling which causes four gears to fall to the ground. Players must get behind the cogs to avoid getting swamped by the lava-like energy, which affects the entire map outside of these zones.
The Cannon Blaster 2000's theme is (raw) Tough Struggle A. The Cannon Blaster 2000 has a base of 89.24B HP on Insane and 226.33B HP on Nightmare difficulty.
