Upgrades help to enhance the capabilities of weapons, rings, and armors. Players can upgrade gear in physical power, spell power, or health (armor and rings only). Items can be upgraded at the Blacksmith station, located near the spawn on Lobby 1 and to the right of the daily rewards area in Lobby 2. The cost of upgrades increases exponentially until 466 upgrades are done, where it reaches the cap of 100K gold per upgrade. Gear can be upgraded by a single point, by 10 points, or by spending all gold until the item is maxed or the player cannot afford any more upgrades.
There is currently no way to remove an upgrade after it has been bought. In addition, there is no way to check which specific upgrades have been placed on an armor or weapon piece.
Upgradable Stats
Items can be upgraded in three separate stats. Upgrading gear in its intended stat will result in the best possible outcome:
- Health: Gives the item more health. It is recommended for guardian armor sets and guardian rings. Health upgrades can only be placed on rings and armor pieces.
- Spell Power: Increases the overall damage of mage abilities and overall heal of healing abilities. It is recommended for mage armor sets, mage rings, and mage weapons. All weapons and armor pieces can receive this upgrade.
- Physical Power: Increases the overall damage of melee attacks and warrior abilities. It is recommended for warrior armor sets, warrior rings, and warrior weapons. All weapons and armor pieces can receive this upgrade.
Potential
Potential or pot is a community-derived term, that refers to an item's maximum spell, physical power, or health when fully upgraded into the appropriate statistic. For example, a purple Bronze Dagger with a base power of 9 physical damage and 5 upgrades is said to have a potential of 14. The Potential of an item is not dependent on its current state, thus the Bronze Dagger in the previous example will have the same potential regardless of how many upgrades it has. Because weapons of the same type are not identical, and can have different base powers and upgrades, a wide range of potentials exists for each weapon. Other terms have been derived from this:
- God Pot: An extremely high and rare potential for a weapon or armor. God Pots are widely sought out within the trading community.
- Reverse God Pot: An extremely low and rare potential for a weapon or armor. While being equally rare they are typically not valued as much as God Pots
With the exception of Ultimate rarity items, all other items' base power and upgrades have a minimum and maximum that varies 5% from the average (i.e. x0.95 and x1.05). Combining both with the power increase from all upgrades into the respective stat forms the average potential.
God Pot and Reverse God Pot Resources
The God-Pot and Reverse God Pot values for each item are subjective, as they are derived from the community and not from any official-source. As such, certain players have created their own lists to document which potential values they consider to be God or Reverse God Pot. Notable lists that have been widely spread throughout the community include:
- Dungeon Quest God Pot List created by Latoonia
- Item Power Chart: Legends & Purple Armors created by Trashh

Stats gained when upgraded: (base stat*0.05)+1 rounded down.
If the base stat multiplied by 0.05 is equal to or over 10, it will instead permanently give off 10 of that stat per upgrade, and will no longer increase. The maxed stat of any item with 200 or more base stat can therefore easily be calculated by multiplying its upgrades by 10 and adding them to the base stat.
