Winter Outpost is the second dungeon in Dungeon Quest. The theme of this dungeon is an abandoned outpost that is covered in snow.

Defeating the Ice Elemental will complete the dungeon, awarding the players items and gold. Winter Outpost requires level 30 for Easy difficulty, level 40 for Medium difficulty, level 45 for Hard difficulty, level 50 for Insane difficulty, and level 55 for Nightmare difficulty. The theme of this dungeon is an abandoned outpost that is covered in snow. The recommended HP for the first three difficulties is 500-1,000 HP. The recommended HP for the last two difficulties is 900-2,000 HP.

The main theme is (raw) The Assault.

Frost Minion

A Frost Minion

Frost Minions are fast-moving enemies that inflict melee damage. They wield a frozen version of the Bronze Dagger. The health and damage of the Frost Minions increases with difficulty.

Frost Wizard

A Frost Wizard

Frost Wizards are slow-moving ranged enemies that shoot a beam of ice toward the player. They wield a frozen version of the Novice Wand. Frost Wizards appear groups with Frost Minions, and there is never more than one Frost Wizard in any group. The health and damage of the Frost Wizards increases with difficulty.

Ice Minion

An Ice Minion (outdated level and health)

Ice Minions are melee enemies spawned by the Ice Elemental that function the same as the Frost Minions. Ice Minions deal more damage than the Frost mobs and have more health until Insane, where they instead have less. These mobs help distract players from the main boss and do not yield any EXP when defeated.

The Ice Elemental

The Ice Elemental is a boss in Winter Outpost appearing at the 8th room. The Ice Elemental is a a large figure made out of ice having two glowing angry eyes, ice particles falling around him, and three glowing ice crystals floating and spinning around it. The Ice Elemental has a total of three moves.

Ice Spikes: The Ice Elemental will summon multiple small rings that appear randomly throughout the room. These can appear attached to or apart from one another, and usually spawn within the inner circle of the ice.

Ice Beams: After that, multiple small beams will quickly shoot outward from below the boss. Once the beams appear, they will quickly inflict damage to any player standing within them. This attack appears in the same location every time, and keeping a safe distance from the boss during this attack will help to prevent getting hit by multiple beams at once.

Summoning Ice Minions: Then at every other attack rotation, the Ice Elemental will summon three Ice Minions on its left side, which are a stronger variant of the Frost Minions from the previous rooms. Ice Minions have exactly 1/8th of the HP that the Ice Elemental has. Each time an Ice Minion hits a player, they deal around as much as the other two attacks. It is recommended to take them out as quickly as possible, as there is no known limit to how many can spawn at once, meaning they can become an even larger problem than the boss itself.

The Ice Elemental's theme is (raw) Crystal. The Ice Elemental has a base health of 43K HP and deals 115 damage on Easy, a base health of 100K HP and deals 150 damage on Medium, a base health of 240K HP and deals 180 damage on Hard, a base health of 420K HP and deals 270 damage on Insane, and has a base health of 750K HP and deals 360 damage on Nightmare difficulty.

Rooms

The spawn is located inside of a hollow peak at the top of a mountain. The path from spawn bends around a corner overlooking a large drop and leads to the wall of a fortified outpost. The inside of the fortified outpost contains a frozen fountain and a few pillars scattered about, showing that it had either been taken over or abandoned. The outpost exits onto a bridge with a few piles of snow and a large torch in the center. This bridge leads to a small, icy cave. This cave exits into a large open area with a few trees and a shed with an egg located behind it. The path continues through an opening and onto a frozen lake. Across the frozen lake is a small building with a fireplace and only some of the ceiling and walls intact. On the other side of the small building is an area surrounded by mountain peaks and an icy floor with the Icy Elemental hovering in the center.

Drops

Upon completing the dungeon, players receive a random item (two items if on Hardcore mode) and gold, similarly to other dungeons excluding event ones. For Wave Defence, one item is received after every 15 waves. Players with the Extra Item game pass receive receive an extra item in addition to the above.
